L' Atelier sur Seine is an international artist residency program that provides visual artists with peaceful and inspiring setting in which to pursue the work they love. Visual artists of any media of fine and applied arts are invited for a self-directed residency in a historical artist studio overlooking the Seine river.
Located in French countryside known for its long artistic past, L’Atelier sur Seine residency is more like a retreat . There is no pressure to produce any exhibition at the end. There is only one resident artist at any given time, which provides tranquility and allows us to adapt to your requirements.
This is a limited-time residency program that is only available for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017. The Fall residency starts mid September 2016 and ends October 15th, 2016. The program resumes in the Spring and runs from end of April 2017 until the end of June 2017.
The length of stay is from one to three weeks. In the application, you have an option to propose the dates and duration that suit you. You can provide few options indicating the preferred period.
